Lana Miller is a photographic-based artist currently living in Arizona. Growing up in Wisconsin, she always felt the ‘tug of war’ between doing what was expected and expressing her creative ideas. Ms. Miller spent half her life in the military where she was trained as a photographer, a finance technician, and even an aircraft mechanic but spent most of her years as an Information Management Superintendent. The contrast between the order of the military combined with the expression of photography led her to explore the avenues between alternative processes and the new technologies of photography. She is currently expanding her horizons in this world of wonder through experimenting and combining different processes as well as continuing to take photography courses. She received an AS in Audiovisual Production Services in 2004 and is projected to complete a certificate in Photography in 2025.
